Diseño del sistema de seguridad y salud ocupacional en base a la Norma ISO 18001:2007 para la Empresa “Sacha Textil” ubicada en la ciudad de Riobamba provincia de Chimborazo

Abstract

This research aimed to design an occupational and health safety system based on ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 18001:2007 to the SACHA TEXTILE Company, it is located in Riobamba city at Chimborazo province, same which purposes to assess the scale of risks and identify real and potential dangers that are exposed employees in order to reduce their effect. For the development of this research it worked with 15 employees, also a study of the current situation of the company took place, which allowed it to identify and evaluate the physical, chemical, mechanical, biological, ergonomic and psychosocial factors through the matrix identification, estimation and control risk – Method triple criterion PGV, being a important risk both in management and operational area, creating objectives and policies of occupational and health safety, also establishing the joint committee, emergency brigades, plans and training programs, risk control, risk prevention, establishment of occupational health and safety system, legal framework, and the implementation of personal protective equipment. It is recommended to apply the occupational and health safety system to the company, it meets the requirements under ISO 18001:2007, which allows users to manage health and safety occupation of human talent working in the company, creating a healthy work environment and improving productivity within it.
