Estudio de la gestión de riesgos existentes en el taller del GAD Municipal del Cantón Guano.

Abstract

The present research work refers to the Study of Management risks existing in the transport and workshop at Autonomous Government Municipal from Guano Canton. The project aims to preserve the integrity and health of human talent as well as physical facilities of national and international standards, using as methodology the Resolution N.C.D. 333, Chapter II, Art.9, numeral 2 at the Ecuadorian Social Security Institute (IESS), Technical Management. An analysis of the current situation was carried out in the following workstations: automobile mechanics, welding, electrician, storekeeper, light vehicle driver and truck operator, because these are more dangers. Using process maps as a tool to analyze the diferent types of activities which allowed to identify the risks in each areas and workstations, so it was determined the severity or impact to the workers through a subjective tool, such as the qualification or risk from the Colombia Technical Guide (GTC-45) guide to identify risks and the assessment of health and safety. The results are: Level II with not acceptable risks or acceptable with specific control, level III which are Acceptable, and level IV Acceptable. Through the identification and assessment of the risks were able todetermine that the facilities of the workstations do not have a safety signage, in addition there is a high risk of explosion and fire, leading to develop a matrix of objectives and goals which established the proposal and the development of a program in order to manage risk factors in the workstation such as: the training plan, a plan of personal protective equipment, working clothes, signage and fire defense. With the purpose to protec health and safety of workers, due to determined risk with II, III and IV levels, so it is recommended that this proposal can be approved immediately by the highest authority and implemented in the shortest posible time in the workstations.
