Abstract

In this current thesis, we developed a web and mobile application with geolocation for medicine distribution of the pharmacy “Farmacenter” in the city of Esmeraldas using the programming language PHP, Bootstrap for the design of the web interfaces and MySQL as a database manager. The web and mobile applications were developed based on the agile development methodology SCRUM, which helped to monitor the development activities creating a friendly work environment for the work team and the client. We used technological tools such as: Laravel 5.7, VueJs 2.5, Bootstrap 4.1, MySQL 8 and Ionic 5. The final product was evaluated according to the evaluation metrics indicated by the ISO / IEC 9126 standard based on the usability metric with the help of the SUS test. The results show that the web application has a usability of 97% while the mobile application has a usability of 93.41%. Thus, we concluded that both the web application and the mobile application comply with metric of usability, providing the clients of the “Farmacenter” pharmacy with a technological tool which allow them to buy medicine in the city of Esmeraldas.
