Plan de salvaguardia del patrimonio cultural inmaterial de la nacionalidad Kichwa del cantón Gonzalo Pizarro, provincia de Sucumbíos.

Abstract

This research proposes: to design a Safeguarding Plan of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Kichwa nationality, Gonzalo Pizarro canton, Sucumbíos province; contributing to the valuation, safeguard, protection, revitalisation and transmission of its cultural manifestations, it began with the diagnosis of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, which consists of 3 phases: first, the socialisation of the importance of developing the ICH Safeguard Plan with community leaders, people from the Kichwas communities and competent authorities; second, the update of the Kichwa nationality ICH registry, through the registration form of the "Instituto Nacional de Patrimonio Cultural", obtaining a total of 35 manifestations distributed within the five areas of the INPC and third, the evaluation of the ICH where its risk status is determined, by analysing a matrix with indicators such as intergenerational transmission and validity, representativeness and recognition and social, cultural sense, where it obtained that 29% of the cultural manifestations are in a valid state, 68% in the vulnerable current state and 3% in the current state in the collective memory. Subsequently, the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats were analysed, identifying the positive and negative factors involved in the ICH, from which the critical nodes and critical success factors were identified and prioritised, giving way to the formulation of the strategic objectives and strategies, which were the basis for the formulation of the Plan, where three programs and 11 projects have finally been defined. It concluded that the Safeguard Plan constitutes necessary actions for the continuity of cultural manifestations and strengthening of the cultural identity of the Kichwas residents of the Gonzalo Pizarro canton.
