Plan de seguridad vial en La Troncal de la sierra E35 tramo Riobamba Pallatanga provincia de Chimborazo

Abstract

The research with the theme: Road safety plan in the trunk of the sierra E35 section Riobamba Pallatanga, province of Chimborazo, had the objective of designing a Road Safety Audit in the trunk road E35 section RiobambaPallatanga, determines the importance of audits constant roads to reduce the existing risks on the country's highways, where three elements play a fundamental role, either individually or together, to prevent a traffic accident: human, vehicular, and road. These factors usually participate unanimous as a chain of accidents. A significant number of damages were identified on the road, which are located in different parts of the road, which may have various causes such as the topography of the road, the construction design, signage and road education for drivers and pedestrians. For this reason, it is necessary to make an observation of the entire section to determine the current conditions. Taking into account all the aspects, it can be mentioned that the section from the city of Riobamba - Pallatanga is not so safe, that is why it is important to maintain it since the constant climatic changes also deteriorate the road, the vegetation increases and covers the visibility of the drivers. According to the detailed report, the findings found in the RiobambaPallatanga section of the Chimborazo province can be evidenced, where greater difficulty was presented in 7 of them that are suspected of being dangerous, these are: Lican, Calpi, La Cemento Chimborazo, Villa la Unión, Gatazo, Plank and Panza Redonda. To determine how dangerous these sections were, a detailed study was made of the problems that appeared on each road.
