Proyecto de factibilidad para la creación de una casa hogar para adultos mayores con el auspicio del GAD-PR Columbe, cantón Colta, provincia de Chimborazo, período 2018

Abstract

The present work is aimed at demonstrating the feasibility project for the creation of a home for the elderly under the auspices of the GAD-PR Columbe, in order to provide the elderly with a home that provides them with the quality of life they deserve. In this investigation, a survey was conducted of a part of the economically active population of the area, having as a result various criterion that will help strengthen decisions for the welfare of the home. In the proposal, the five phases of the feasibility project were developed, starting with the market study where the unmet demand was obtained, which is intended to cover 25%. In this phase, the diagnosis of the adult population in precarious conditions was detailed. The next phase is the technical study in which the macro location, micro location and the optimal size of the home are detailed. The environmental study describes the actions and strategies that will be used for the environmental care of the centre. In the administrative-legal study is detailed the legal documents that must be obtained before the implementation of the business, also points out the organizational system that will be handled in the home. And finally, the economic and financial study is analysed, where it details the investments, expenses and profits that the project will have. It is concluded that the project is feasible since a Net Present Value (NPV) of 327731.73 and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 28.31 was obtained, so the project is economically profitable. It is recommended to periodically evaluate the living conditions that the older adult carries after being recruited to the centre.
