Plan de salvaguardia del patrimonio cultural inmaterial de la comunidad Tulabug Escaleras, parroquia Licto, cantón Riobamba, provincia de Chimborazo.

Abstract

The present investigation proposes: to elaborate the Safeguarding Plan of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Tulabug Escaleras community, Licto parish, Riobamba canton, Chimborazo province; in the register of cultural manifestations of the community, three phases were worked on: an approach consisting of a meeting of contact with the actors involved to make known about the guidelines of the project to be carried out and obtaining free, prior and informed consent: collection of information through primary and secondary sources: and analysis and systematization of cultural manifestations through the use of the registration form for the demonstrations proposed by the INPC, obtaining as a result a total of 27 manifestations, then for the valuation of these manifestations, three parameters were used: intergenerational transmission and validity, representativeness and community recognition and social meaning, qualifying as: current manifestations, current vulnerable manifestations and manifestations in the collective memory but not practiced. In the second stage, the participative self-diagnosis of the community was developed, making the SWOT matrix and later the critical knots and key factors of success were elaborated, all of them helped to formulate the strategic objectives and strategies, in turn the mission and vision was elaborated of the safeguard plan. Finally, the proposal of the Plan was formulated, resulting in 5 programs and 5 projects each with their description and breakdown of the activities to be carried out. In context, this project will allow the recovery, assessment and conservation of their knowledge, expertise, techniques and practices through the transmission to new generations so that cultural events are kept alive, and that they are practiced and valued by the locality and visitors.
