Estudio de factibilidad para la implementación de un Lodge en la comunidad Verde Sumaco, provincia de Orellana.

Abstract

The current research proposes to carry out the feasibility study for the implementation of a lodge in the Verde Sumaco community, Orellana Province through bibliographic and field research techniques. According to the mark study, it determined the profile of four segments of the current demand of the Yasuní National Park and the Lakehead University of Canada. In addition, through the field study, 19 natural attractions and 5 cultural attractions were determined. In the productive study, it determined the location of the project, the planning and technical design of the infrastructures that adopt the traditional Kichwa style of the Amazon region determining the monthly capacity standard of 96 people for tourist establishment and designed two tour packages. In the legal and administrative study, it defined the organizational structure and the positions and functions manual for the development of tourism by “Ley de economía popular y solidaria” and the regulation for community tourist centers, setting the philosophy and strategy. In the socio-environmental study, it applied the evaluation and quantification matrix of Lázaro Lagos obtaining 77% of positive aspects and 23% of negative aspects and then elaborated a plan with the mitigation measures for the negative aspects of the components such as: air, soil, flora and fauna and landscape. The economic-financial study of the project was established for five years, requiring an investment of $ 393,211.79 and determining in the financial study a NPV of $ 509, 399.81, the IRR of 39% the PRC of 2 years, 1 month and 17 days and the relationship B/C $ 2.30. It is concluded that the project is commercial, productive technical, administrative, socio-environmental and economically viable. Finally, it is recommended its execution in relation to the results obtained.
