Diseño de un plan integral de gestión de riesgos institucional para la Escuela de Física y Matemática de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo

Abstract

This degree work had the objective of designing a Comprehensive Institutional Risk Management Plan (PIGR) for the Physics and Mathematics School of the ESPOCH. From a preliminary observation it was determined that the corresponding measures were not applied to minimize the incidence of internal and external risks, this was confirmed with the random opinion of the different students and administrative, academic and support staff of the School, those who have said that there have been incidents in the place, that attempt against people integrity who work and visit the same. The lack of signage in the place is also notorious, in such a way that the possible risks were identified based on the Technical Secretary for Risk Management (SGR), proposed format, same which with the help of the labor risks matrix that was facilitated by the Ecuadorian Ministry of Labor (MRL) a thorough investigation and analysis of the risks and dangers present in the installations is carried out, it also uses indicators for the exposure level which is gotten with the help of technical data sheets with quantitative methodology as Technical Prevention Standards (NTP), for the identification of risks the multiple matrix of the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Hygiene (INSHT), and for its control will be used rules in force in the country, such as the executive order 2393, Resolution C.D. 513 of the Board of Directors of the Ecuadorian Social Security Institute (IESS), considering that the identification and analysis is specifically of the school's infrastructure. The general recommendations and technical manuals provided by National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) for the selection and location of fire-fighting equipment were also considered (ACI), with the sheet MESERI, methodology delivered by the fire department which is of execution and simple interpretation for the brigades and staff in general, in addition to the regulation INEN-ISO 3864 which specifies the colours and shapes corresponding to the appropriate signage for the facilities at the school in relation to the risks identified.
