Diseño de una ruta turística para el cantón El Carmen, provincia de Manabí

Abstract

This research proposes: to design a tourist route for canton El Carmen, in Manabí province ; it has three stages, which consist in the raising of inventory of tourist attractions, the structuring of the tour, the commercial technical and legal viability of the product, the study of environmental viability and the economic and financial analysis. It was determined that in the canton El Carmen there are 12 natural tourist attractions. This tourist proposal is projected for national tourists. The time it takes to make the tour is 3 days with activities of approximately 10 hours a day, among which are extreme sports such as canopy, rappelling, kayaking, as well as camping, hiking, horseback riding, sport fishing and cycling. The product will be commercialized by means of the Internet through conventional advertising and electronic media such as radio and television and web page. The proposed legal figure for the operation of products is by the creation of a mixed liability company, the environmental impacts produced are more positive than negative in affecting the environment, which is why the proposal is considered viable. The economic and financial analysis of the route has an Internal Rate of Return of 6%, the capital will be recovered in the fifth year of operation, it has a Net Present Value of $ 297,303.82 and the cost benefit ratio is 1.05, so it is considered the proposal as feasible because for each dollar that is invested there will be 0.05 of profit.
