Evaluación Ex-Post del Proyecto Sistema de Riego Miraflores de las Abras, Parroquia de San Andrés, Cantón Guano, Provincia de Chimborazo.

Abstract

In this investigation the objective was to evaluate an ex-post of the project “Irrigation system Miraflores de las Abras, parroquia de San Andrés, Cantón Guano, Provincia de Chimborazo”, to measure whether if has effectively and efficiently achieved its objectives, goals, results, sustainability, relevance and positive effects in the beneficiaries through the surveys analysis conducted to the 51 users of the irrigation system and also the criteria set out for the 10 users randomly choose in te conducted interviews, for the analysis and the results, we used the methodology of the National System of Public Investment, that determined the efficacy, impact and sustainability, and whose analysis demonstrated the following results: The project has been EFFECTIVE and EFFICIENT due to the fulfilment of the stipulated schedule, the PERTENNANCE of the project at the beginning are coherent with the current needs of all the beneficiary families. The project implemented is SUSTAINABLE for all the objectives with which it was conceived. The project generate POSITIVE IMPACT in the beneficiary families, since the income of the habitants of the community has already been made profitable and the quality of life was terminated. This investigation concluded with an Ex-Post Evaluation report, which results in general terms were positive, the determination of he obtained findings, it guarantee a correct administration, operation and maintance of the irrigation system. It is recomended to add this proposal to the Internal regulations of the Irrigation Board, counting on the acceptance of ll the users committed to work in a cooperative environment with the purpose of an efficient and adequate management of the irrigation system.
