Estudio de alternativas económico productivas en el área pecuaria para el desarrollo de grupos humanos en zonas de riesgo por acción del volcán Tungurahua - comunidad El Guzo

Abstract

lt is intended to improve the standard of living of the agricultural producers of the Community "The Guzo", in the canton of Penipe, province of Chimborazo; within the boundaries of the Plan SUMAK KAWSAY or Good Living, By means of a productive economic study of alternatives for the development of human groups in vulnerable areas because this community is one of the most affected by the activity of the Tungurahua volcano, In addition to having high rates of migration, far it was characterized human resources, ecological, economic and productive than have the agro-ecosystems, lifting the information of people and animals to develop strategies for the development of a feasibility study on sustainable agriculture. We evaluated the productive units, which were subjected to analysis of descriptive statistics. There was that approximately 79.6% of the population belongs to older adults, their family is made up of between 1 and 5 members. The analysis of agricultural and livestock component determined that a large part of its production is devoted to self-consumption, in spite of this part of their income derived from the sale of products such as: mora, beans and corn, and the sale of minor species (guinea pig). In the economic and financial component was determined that in implementing a Sustainable Development Plan will be achieved a relationship 8/C of approximately 1.34 in the potentiation of produces such as Mora and beans, guinea pigs, and in the area caprine a relationship B/C 1.66. lt is recommended that social research with training about the benefits of the application of new agricultural techniques to the inhabitants of the Community "The Guzo," giving their respective follow-up.
