Planificación estratégica para el Instituto de Investigaciones de la Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo, período 2016 – 2018, de la ciudad de Riobamba, provincia de Chimborazo

Abstract

The elaboration of the Strategic Planning for the Research Institute of the Polytechnic School of Chimborazo, during the 2016 – 2018 Period, was developed with the aim of achieving continuous improvement in the management of research projects in the institution, achieving the objectives that were planted. The methodology applied for the design of the research was based on the Alpa Senplades Strategic Planning Model, which is a guide on how institutions should act to effectively and efficiently provide their services, through compliance with proposed policies and their corresponding Goals, surveys where applied to both teachers of ESPOCH and members of the Institute of Research; The internal and external diagnoses were performed through the FODA Matrix and the Correlation Matrix, of which eight strategic objectives were proposed; Plans, programs and projects were established with their respective indicators and targets that allow monitoring of the Strategic Plan. Therefore, it is recommended to disseminate, implement and evaluate compliance with the strategic planning that has been designed for the Institute of Research in order to guarantee the fulfillment of the expectations of its internal and external users, also contributing to the improvement of the research indicator institutional.
