Plan de salvaguardia de patrimonio cultural inmaterial de San Pedro de Alausí, parroquia Matríz, cantón Alausí, provincia de Chimborazo

Abstract

This research intends to design a safeguard plan for intangible cultural heritage in San Pedro de Alausí, Chimborazo province, starting with the registration of the demonstrations that has three phases; Approach consisting of an established meeting with key stakeholders and obtaining free, prior and informed consent; collection of information from both primary sources and secondary sources and systematization, classification, categorization through the registration form of the National Institute of Cultural Heritage in the 5 areas that are oral traditions and expressions, performing arts, ritual social uses and festive acts, knowledge and uses related to nature and the universe and traditional artisanal techniques obtaining a total of 40 manifestations, later for the valuation of patrimonial resources it was used a matrix with aspects such as intergenerational transmission and validity, representativeness and community recognition and social sense, obtaining as a result the state of the manifestations of which we have manifestations that are in current status, vulnerable state and collective memory, consequently, the SWOT matrix was designed to identify critical knots and key success factors that helped in the preparation of the safeguard plan, based on the formulation of strategic objectives and strategies, and the mission and vision of the plan were formulated. It was obtained: as a result, a total of three programs and three projects each with their description and activities to be carried out to contribute to the effective safeguarding of the PCI It is concluded that the plan will allow to fortify, revitalize, transmit, communicate, disseminate, promote, promote, protect through three phases that are identification, diagnosis and definition of actions for the safeguarding of the PCI. This will strengthen the cultural identity of the inhabitants, generating awareness to preserve customs and traditions that will last from generation to generation.
