Propuesta de desarrollo comunitario para fortalecer la identidad cultural de la parroquia Puela, cantón Penipe, provincia de Chimborazo.

Abstract

The present research aimed to establish a community development proposal to strengthen the cultural identity of the parish of Puela, in Penipe canton, Province of Chimborazo, which was developed in three phases. First, the conceptual elements and basic principles were established on which the community development and the cultural identity of a people is based by means of a bibliographical review of several authors obtaining this way, a consolidated information of the most relevant aspects for the investigation. Second, the development structure that is practiced in the Puela parish was analyzed, starting from the principles of community development associated to cultural identity and the conception of nature through the technique of interview to focus groups obtaining real information about the territory. Finally, in order to strengthen the current management structure of the decentralized autonomous rural government of Puela, and in pursuit of the development of cultural identity, the components, guidelines and guidelines of the management proposal were structured in a participatory way, which identifies two levels: regulation and operational which Contains six processes and 24 components, which together with the activities to be carried out, contribute to the strengthening of cultural identity in the parish in balance with nature. Therefor it is recommended to consider this proposal as an alternative to enhance cultural identity and take advantage of the resources, increasing the sense of belonging of the population and respect for nature.
