Análisis de riesgos e implementación de señalética y seguridad por monitoreo mediante cámaras en el taller básico de la Facultad de Mecánica de la ESPOCH.

Abstract

The first stage of the current degree work has as aim to identify the dangers and mitigate the risks as well as the safety conditions and occupational health to which the warehouse workers, teacher staff and students of the college of Mechanics of Escuela Superior Politecnica de Chimborazo. The study starts with beginning diagnosis of the current situation when making the lift of information of the field research under current regulations, both national and international applied and directed within the defined place. In this study, several tools were used such as: process diagrams, evaluation forms, personal protective equipment datasheet, task risk analysis datasheet, engineering controls based on the acquired knowled during the formation of an industrial engineer. The second phase is the founding in the identification of the risks and the risk evaluation to use the instrument whose name in Spanish is Guia Tecnica Colombiana (GTC 45), the same that has three components: before, during and after. This part of the evaluation with the existing controls estimate the level of risks according to the probability level and the consequence level. The appraisal of the risk is made in both a qualitative and semi-qualitative form. This first stage is the starting point to make proposals of technical improvement, engineering controls and practice that allow bringing solutions to the found issues in within this workshop. It is concluded that a high index of safety exists, problems related to the condition to elaborate practice, insufficient training of the teacher staff to develop their work and formation a safe way, that is why for which is produced that issue. The existence of an obsolete and outdated iventory, added up to the lack of order and cleaning provoke that the index of randomness and the increasing of the risk be an omnipresent weakness. The study yielded positive results since this diminished the initial risk in a 87% and in some cases, these were removed completely.
