Desarrollo del sistema académico del Sindicato de Choferes Profesionales 4 de Octubre aplicando el framework JSF.

Abstract

The objective of the present titling work was develop the academic systrem for the Sindicato de Choferes Profesionales 4 de Octubre of the city of Prnipe applying the JSF framework to automate the registration process and digitize the academic information. The technological tools used for the development of the academic system are JSF framework, MySQL, APACHE, PHP, TOMCAT, PRIMEFACES, CSS3. The development methodology chosen is SCRUM, due to its agile management approach that facilitated the management of this project. It notably contributed to the creation of a transparent, adaptable, feedback and continuous improvement at a sustainable work pace between the Product Owner and Team Scrum. For the development process to be efficient, it has three phases, in the planning phase, through meetings were captured the requirements called user stories of the system, described in a non-technical language and prioritized by the value of the institution, in the development phase user stories associated with in sprints were formalizad, and in the closing phase the test of the academic system, the documentation and the captioning to the users of the academic system were executed. Subsequently, it was tested for usability, functionality and efficiency, with the help of surveys directed at the secretary, students and teachers. It was determined that the academic system is 90,48% usable, 98,72% functional, and 92,91% efficient, it was obtained a general average of 94.04% in quality. Finally, it is concluded that the system will help the secretary, students and teachers of the Sindicato de Choferes Profesionales 4 de Octubre to speed up the registration process and also to carry a digital organization of academic information, so it is recommended that the members of the institution make use of the system to facilitate academic processes.
