Implementación de un modelo para medir la efectividad de la logística en el transporte de mercancías para la modalidad aérea en el Aeropuerto Internacional Cotopaxi, del cantón Latacunga, provincia de Cotopaxi

Abstract

The implementation of a model to measure the effectiveness of logistics in the freight transport for the air modality at Cotopaxi International Airport, in the Latacunga canton, Cotopaxi province, aims to assess the effectiveness and to know the area that needs to be strengthened within of the system to archive its maximum performance. The research was carried out through the application of surveys that served as base to identify the criteria that the experts in the area considered to be excellent inside the logistic system, which were then evaluated according to the consideration of a decision maker. It should be mentioned that the model is a based on the systemic or Network Analytical Process, the same that it allows to realize an in-depth analysis of the different criteria, it influences and its assessments, thus obtaining theoretical and methological conclusions to solve this type of problems, which its development can be supported as in this case of the software Super Decisions. As soon as the process that indicates the model has been completed, it has been possible to identify the most important aspects in the logistics of the Air freight transport and whit the support of a formula that integrates the above mentioned results there has been obtained the value of 84, 22% that represents the effectiveness of the system in relation to what is desired to be archived, which is considered to be a starting point of the strategic planning of the same one.
