Propuesta de intervención educativa sobre el embarazo en adolescentes, Colegio Aurelio Guerrero, Archidona. 2015 – 2016.

Abstract

Proposal of educational intervention on teenage pregnancy, carried out at Aurelio Guerrero College, in the canton of Archidona Province of Napo in the period August 2015 to May 2016, conducted a descriptive correlational and transversal study with a quantitative and qualitative approach, the universe was constituted by 120 A sample of 111 teenagers who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria was taken for the study. A survey was used to obtain the information, which was validated by a group of experts using the Moriyarru criteria and obtaining the Cronbach's alpha. Obi,ining the following results: 63 teenagers for 56.8% were male, 44 belonged to the age group from 15 to 16 years old for 36.9%, 64 teenagers for a 57.7% self-identified as indigenous. Concluding that teenagers presented unsatisfactory knowledge about the causes and consequences of teenagers pregnaryy, with a relationship between unsatisfactory knowledge and some variables such as age and ethnicity. Teenagers living in the family nucleus received satisfactory knowledge and received information from their parents which was not adequate. Based on the results obtained, an educational intervention strategy was designed on this topic. Recommending the application of the educational intervention in the teenagers of the College Aurelio Guerrero of the canton Archidona.
