Material didáctico para aprendizaje de notas musicales básicas para estudiantes del 10mo año del “Instituto de Sordos de Chimborazo”.

Abstract

An interactive multimedia was designed as a teaching material for the learning of basic musical notes for the 10th year students of the “Chimborazo Institute for the deaf,” of the city of Riobamba. It was started with the inductive investigation of the actual situation of the teaching methods, training materials utilized, applied in the elaboration process of the interactive multimedia. Subsequently applying investigation tools such as Test and Focus Group, results were obtained from 70.83% of 24 students and 83.33% of 6 professors preferred utilizing the multimedia presentations. These characteristics served as a base for the structure and design of the multimedia; token observations determined that 95.83% of the students differentiated intense vibration between notes and notes in the bass musical instrument, taking into account what the tactoyente can or cannot perceive from the music. The musical teaching method was determined based on a focus Group of professors of the “Chimborazo Institute for the deaf, with 100% in favor of working with the Zoltan Kodaly Method feeling that this was the most adequate one for the application of our training material. For the design the Kodaly musical teaching was used in the interactive multimedia, which evaluated these aspects: technique, aesthetics, and pedagogic, giving as results 100% effectively and based on the evaluation test that was realized for the students 95.83% learning was obtained in the learning of the basic musical notes of the bass. According to the evaluation of the learning of concepts, basic musical notes with the learning of its respective language of signs and rhythm, we can determine that the students learned at 77.50%.
