Abstract

The theme of present research is ELABORATION OF THE BALANCED SCORECARD FOR MUNICIPAL PUBLIC COMPANY OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCERS MARKET “SAN PEDRO DE RIOBAMBA”. It was necessary to make an analysis of the theoretical foundations and methodology of Balanced Scorecard to carry out in order the research, with the purpose to contribute and improve the business management. The organizations can have proper planning, but not having a system that controls the management process could affect to determine whether their proposed objectives were fulfilled, so that it could not be possible to take actions and improve the growth of the organization. The theoretical basis of the Balanced Scorecard was obtained initially to apply and adapt it subsequently to the real situation of the company. After that different methodologies and techniques for the development of the Balanced Scorecard were applied. Through the SWOT matrix a systematic analysis of the current situation of the organization was made, which shows an approach to reduce the weaknesses and benefit the opportunities through the strengths that the EP EMMPA has. Business strategies were proposed at the end of the research to improve the processes, service delivery quality, corrective actions and measurement existing resources, which will serve for the administration to improve its processes and reach the objectives through proper decisions making. Finally, it established conclusions and presented recommendations to the Administrative Management of Municipal Public Company of Agricultural Producers Market “San Pedro de Riobamba”.
