Comportamiento productivo y de salud de ovinos maltones mestizos alimentados con una dieta a base de forraje y concentrados más methisoprinol

Abstract

In the experimental station UAIOCC Tunshi, Faculty of Animal Science-ESPOCH, both productive and health behavior of mix-breed sheep, were evaluated, according the effect after applying Sinvirax plus a combination of Shotapen in 8 applications at intervals of 15 days; with animals of an average weight of 16 kg and an age of 3.5 months. These combinations were distributed in 4 treatments at a rate of 6 animals, 3 males and 3 females per treatment: T0 Control, T1 with 3ml of Sinvirax Shotapen + 2,5 ml, with of Shotapen, T2 with 2,5 ml of Shotapen and T3 with 3 ml of Sinvirax, it was made a blood biochemical analysis of the sheep by evaluating red blood cells, leukocytes, hemoglobin, hematocrit, and lymphocytes B and T, which demonstrated that there were not substantial differences between the treatments for the number of red blood cells, (T0 8.59; T1 8.44; T2 8.38; T3 8.58 x106/mm3 P> 0.05), whereas the values for the leukocyte number, hematocrit, hemoglobin and B T lymphocytes, (T1 9193.3/mm3; T1 36%, T0 11 mg/dl and T2 74.92% respectively, P<0.01), were more significant. The productive parameters whose best values were in T1 CMS Kg/ day, EM Mcal/day, PB, GW/day and Ca, (1.14 kg/day, 2.84 Mcal/day, 197.06 g/day, 120, 54 g/day and 12.89 g/day, respectively), were estimed. The cost for T1 application ($ 1,373.97) a cost-benefit of 1,19 profit, which ensures the efficiency of the implementation of a dosage of Sinvirax combined with Shotapen, so, it is recommended its use on sheep production in farms of small, medium and large scale.
