Evaluación de alternativas energéticas para el desarrollo local sostenible de la Reserva de Producción de Fauna Chimborazo

Abstract

The investigative work "Evaluation of energetic alternatives for the local sustainable development of Fauna Production Reserve Chimborazo" it is justified for the importance of energy in fauna activities, and the tourism is considered like a strategic sector onto of Plan National del Buen Vivir. The methodology used is supported on the analysis of energetic alternatives with renewable resources, particularly the wind, after to carry out the updated bibliographic revision, the potentials solar and Eolic were determined and the eolic alternative was selected for the project developmentfor being an abundant resource, for its gratuity, wind renewability, and its conversion to electricity, in cleaned way for using in the Fauna Production Reserve Chimborazo and the narest communities. The energetic demand was determined and the selection of eolic equipment was done and it is presented like alternative the implementing of an eolic park with twoo (2) wind turbines of type 3.0M122 of RePower company that would provide 6000 kW, being the energy demand of 3750 KW, for this reason it is concluded that the project is profitable and it is projected to satisfy the energetic needs for 25 years, with a cost of $ 12,050,000 U.S.D. It is recommended to financial management with the local entities.
