La Torta de Palmiste más Enzimas Exógenas en la Alimentación de Ponedoras Comerciales.

Abstract

In the Biohuevo farm which is located in Samanga, Ambato Canton, Province of Tungurahua was made the study of palm kernel cake plus exogenous enzymes in the feeding of hens for sale of the line Lohmann Brown, that were distributed under a completely random system, during a period of 126 days of research, from week 27 to week 44. The results show that for the variables: weight gain, egg production, yolk color, and egg mass there were no meaningful differences nonetheless the birds subjected to corn and soybeans at weeks 32, 33 and 34 enhanced their weight in 2138,63, 2148,00, and 2157,50 g respectively. At the moment of analyzing the variable egg weight we could get results from week 42, 43, 44, with the following weights 63,78, 63,99 and 64,44 g respectively by using a ration of corn and soybeans. With 6% of palm kernel plus enzyme we got the best Benefit/Cost ratio of 1,20 USD, related to corn and soybeans that reach to the index of Benefit/Cost of 1,18 USD. So that it is recommended investigating lower levels of 6% of palm kernel cake and increasing the percentage of exogenous enzymes for the production and quality of eggs; besides determining the physical and chemical characteristics of the fiber for a best characterization of this product.
