Elaboración de un Manual de Calidad del Laboratorio de Dosimetría Personal de la Subsecretaría de Control y Aplicaciones Nucleares

Abstract

The elaboration of the Quality Manual of the Personal Dosimetry Laboratory (LDP) is carried out because it is important to have a document that describes the adaptation to the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard and the requirements of the ISO 17025 standard within the Undersecretariat of Nuclear Control and Applications, which seeks to implement a Quality Management System in each of its dependencies, such as the LDP. For this process, the scientific research method has been used, which basically involves modeling in which abstractions are created in order to explain reality and the systemic method through which the components and relationships within a given structure are determined. The manual obtained as a result, basically includes the scope of the system, or what is the same, the activities that have adopted the management parameters, in order to generate information with a much higher credibility value. It contains the details of the exclusions of the requirements of the standard and their justification, in addition all the documented procedures are detailed and finally there is a description of the interaction of the processes of the system. It can be concluded that the elaboration of the Dosimetry Laboratory quality manual required the analysis of several standards and technical parameters, it also includes basically the Introduction, the presentation of the laboratory and the description of the scope of the system. It is recommended that the Undersecretariat for Nuclear Control and Applications (SCAN) handle this document in an appropriate manner so that the quality management system can achieve the expected results and thus continue to be an excellent unit.
