Propuesta del plan tarifario para el transporte público y comercial modalidad taxi convencional en el cantón Alausí 2023

Abstract

The development of this research allowed us to determine the tariff system for taxis in the Alausí canton, considering that currently it lacks a tariff regulated by the ANT with the objective of this work called "Propose a tariff plan for commercial public transportation modality conventional taxis for the Alausí canton in 2023” with the purpose of regulating the remuneration of a socially fair rate for the provision of the conventional taxi service, for which resolution No. 019 – 2022 ANT was taken into account as a guiding source, detailing the operational costs, application of mathematical formulas. In this way, observation sheets were applied to the commercial transport units and drivers, they provided us with information such as: number of kilometers traveled daily, number of runs with passengers daily, average daily fuel consumption (extra gasoline) and most importantly, that the general way detailed for this calculation is the preventive and corrective maintenance of the work vehicle, therefore the operational costs (fixed, variable and depreciation) that are involved in the final result of a fair and regulated rate according to the conditions of the work area in the Alausí canton. Once the ANT methodology is applied, a rate value of 1.25 USD is obtained. Once the study was carried out, it was concluded that the rate increased by 0.25 USD, these values being that will favor the carriers to obtain a fair benefit for the provision of the service and in turn it is recommended that the authorities with their jurisdiction of the transportation socialize to the managers and citizens about the regulated rate.
