Abstract

The Carlos Cisneros Higher University Institute does not have an automated system that manages evaluations on industrial safety, which should be carried out on students of the different courses; it has caused the risk of more frequent accidents within the laboratories of the institution. Therefore, this research aimed to develop a web application for managing industrial safety evaluations in the mechanical workshop. The applied methodology had a qualitative approach, a transversal non-experimental design was implemented because it was developed in a certain time, the population was students from different semesters, with the main requirement being the registration of events to obtain the necessary information through methods and techniques such as the survey applied to students belonging to the mechanics career, as well as the application of the Scrumban methodology, the same that arises in the combination of the Scrum and Kanban methodology. Through this methodology, it was established that the ISUCC does not have an automated model, the students are unaware of the risks within the laboratories and the evaluations that are managed to determine risks and accidents that may occur during the academic period of the institution. From this context, the conclusion is reached that the Carlos Cisneros Higher University Institute does not have adequate communication and organization between teaching and educational staff, which prevents the processes from being developed in an orderly manner, which is why a model is proposed for evaluation management that covers strategies according to the needs of the institution and that will contribute to its development.
