Evaluación de parámetros de calidad en redes GPON y XGPON para brindar servicio tripe play en pymes.

Abstract

The objective of this degree work was to evaluate the quality parameters in GPON and XGPON networks to provide the triple play service (audio, video and data) in SMEs. In the first place, the study of fiber networks up to x (FTTx) was carried out, taking into account the topology and architecture of each one; In the same way, the analysis of the different PON networks (APON, BPON, EPON) was carried out, where the study was emphasized by comparing the main elements, characteristics and properties of the ITU-T G.984.X and ITUT standards. T G.987.X on which this research project is based. The analysis of the triple play service for SMEs was carried out and in this way determine the quality parameters (QoS), a logical study was formed through the interview with an Internet Service Provider (ISP), to develop the logical design of the trunk network (Feeder), distribution network and dispersion network with the parameters established for SMEs, in such a way that the necessary equipment is detailed; With the help of the Optisystem software, the link was designed and simulated, later the networks and reception levels were evaluated, for the GPON network of the farthest user it is -20.88dBm and for the closest -15.68dBm, in the same way for the XGPON network the closest user of -15.68dBm and the farthest of -20.88dBm, values that are above the threshold; concluding that the Triple Play service in SMEs has a greater bandwidth for the transmission and reception of information, but the quality parameters are the same because they are established according to the recommendation. It is recommended to carry out connectivity tests with various users in the networks to evaluate the behavior of the service offered by the ISP.
