Galería a cielo abierto con técnicas aerográficas contemporáneas basada en la cultura del cantón Alausí.

Abstract

The purpose of this titling work was to implement an open-air gallery using contemporary aerographic techniques based on the culture of the Alausí to improve the tourist activity of the town. The information was collected through an interview with the Tourism Director of the municipal GAD of Alausí, followed by surveys to the neighborhoods La Vicentina, El Calvario, Caliente, Eloy Alfaro, and Control Norte, beyond documentary information, cultural heritage, customs, and traditions of Alausí. According to the information gathering, five neighborhoods chose to promote tourism in the town. The themes of the walls are directly related to the resident's opinion; the walls have sorted for the work are three of them made of adobe, one of brick and another of stone, which had coatings suitable for the intervention giving them slight conditioning, whose areas did not exceed 41.04m2, with this base, a methodology of the own design was proposed for the work development with five stages, which allowed to know the georeferenced of each wall and the characteristics of the population, the conceptualization where it was determined what was going to be reflected on each wall and how the aim was reached; then the digital illustrations were developed, and later implemented in each mural, additionally, a multimedia record was developed. After the gallery was already implemented, an interview was conducted. It can be concluded that this project contributed positively to the tourism sector of the Alausí town, achieving the main objective; as a complementary way, socialization through the different platforms managed by the Municipal GAD is considered of relevant importance.
