Incidencia del material didáctico en el refuerzo de la lecto - escritura en la Escuela de Educación Básica Leopoldo Freire del cantón Chambo para niños de 4to año de EGB.

Abstract

The purpose of this research project was to verify the incidence of teaching material in the reinforcement of literacy in the "Leopoldo Freire" school of the Chambo canton for children in the 4th year of BGE ", and based on that research create a didactic material on the main legends of Chambo canton, It was investigated if the hypothesis about the teaching material for literacy affects children in 4th grade. BGE year of the Leopoldo Freire school in Chambo canton; based on the inductive methodology to determine the types of teaching material that are used in the practice of literacy in children and deductive that is used based on the information obtained to conclude with the teaching material of greater incidence in the practice of literacy. The survey used to children allowed knowing the type of illustration, typography and layout that will be used for the graphic piece about the legends of the Chambo canton; while the interview helps us identify the type of teaching material used in the practice of literacy and its incidence. For the analysis of the result two observation sheets were used; one that was conducted to a focus group of 5 children of 4th year of BGE from the different parallels, and the other card of observation to the teachers, this allows us to know that the didactic material on the legends affected 75% in the children of 4th year of BGE of the Leopoldo Freire School according to the validation carried out. It is concluded that the information obtained on the didactic material of greater incidence that it has in the practice of literacy and SWOT analysis of the children of 4th year of BGE was necessary at the time of creating a new didactic material based on the legends of the Chambo canton; since interest was generated in the practice of literacy and also promotes knowledge of the traditions and culture of Chambo canton. It should be created and provided with more teaching materials about legends, to arouse curiosity, thereby encouraging children to read, write and become interested in the traditions and history of Chambo canton.
