Reinterpretación gráfica mediante el modelado 3D de personajes ilustres de la provincia de Chimborazo.

Abstract

The aim of this technical research was to collect, develop, buil and print four illustrious characters from the province of Chimborazo who were Magdalena Dávalos, Manuela León, Isabel de Godín and Luz Elisa Borja; we considered working with illustrious women of the province since the work and struggle of each one of these women is not properly accepted and recognized. We interpreted each character through 3D modeling, four characters were built in order to learn a little more about the history of these four women who tried to stand out at the time when “machismo” reached a very high level. The design methodology used was Bruce Archer´s, consisting of 3 states: the first one is analytical, the second one creative and finally the executive stage. This was developed with the help research tools and techniques such as bibliographic compilation cars dad helped to learn a little a little more about the history and important events that transcended in the life of each woman, and documentary gallery cards that were support for the reinterpretation of each one of the illustrious women, resulting in modern figures using a graphic style according to the chosen target audience. An affirmative response was obtained from the people who observed the visual product and were surveyed about the perception they had when looking at each one of the illustrious women, qualifying it as efficient. It is concluded that the organization and use of each one of the instruments of information collection allow to comparand validate the data obtained, on the other hand, it is recommended that this Curricular Integration Work be used to encourage the dissemination of the identity of each one of the illustrious women not only in Chimborazo but in Ecuador as a whole.
