Desarrollo e implementación de una aplicación web para controlar las ventas de la empresa Danjeans del cantón Pelileo aplicando el modelo V.

Abstract

The objective of this curriculum integration work was to develop a web application using the API REST technology through the V model for the sales control of finished products of the Danjeans company. For the execution of this project, we utilized the V model that encompasses 4 phases or levels with their respective test plans, which allowed the optimization of communication between the parties involved through clearly defined terms and responsibilities. For the planning of the project, we utilized an interview to obtain different requirements of the web system, resulting in 23 functional requirements and 5 enablers. We carried out an estimation study of the requirements collected in the interview, obtaining a total cost estimate of the project and the time in which the application could be completed. In each phase of the model, the different test plans were obtained, as well as the different software engineering documents. For the evaluation of software quality, the V model itself implements the terms of verification and validation of the software covering each phase of software development with test plans; we performed a total of 223 tests between unit, integration, system, and acceptance tests resulting in 100% of test cases were successful. We concluded that possessing this valuation guarantees a verified and validated software, in addition to the fact that the system was able to improve the sales control process and its management. It is recommended to possess the requirements well defined before starting and to plan everything in detail.
