Factores determinantes para la incubación de huevos de codorniz.

Abstract

The present literature review was carried out with the objective of investigating the different determining factors in the incubation of quail eggs. For which the most important anomalies to take into account in the selection of eggs, were analyzed. As well as the main characteristics that quail eggs must possess to ensure a good incubation and hatching. For the collection of information, selection criteria were used that included updated information no less than 5 years ago and the scientific sources were Scielo, E-libro, Scopus, Dspace, Academia edu, among others. According to the analysis and scope of the results is cataloged as applied research, aiming to discover strategies that can be used in a specific problem, such research is supported by theory to generate knowledge and practice it in the future in order to cause a positive impact on future experimental research. Determining that the best responses in terms of the quality and weight of the egg (12.53gr) and shell (0.2636mm) therefore have greater advantage for incubation. As for the factors of: handling must be done with the greatest possible care to avoid ruptures or losses of eggs, for light a special lighting plan must be created to raise the productive yields of birds, humidity should be between 50 and 60% and temperature of 17.7ºC to mitigate embryonic death. It is recommended that quail eggs should be incubated at a temperature of 37.5ºC and humidity of 45% in the first 15 days, increasing up to 65% for about 3 days.
