Efecto de un preparado microbiano sobre los Índices productivos en pollos ROSS 308.

Abstract

The present work aimed to evaluate the effect of a microbial preparation on the production rates in Ross 308 chickens, in Cevallos canton, in Tungurahua Province, 100 birds per treatment and 400 animals in total, of an average weight 39.85 g, were used. Also, 4 treatments were used that were a control and 3 different levels of supply of a microbial preparation (0.1; 0.2 and 0.3%) were used as part ofthe diet of Broiler chickens, Ross line 308, during the growth and fattening stages. The experimental units were distributed with a completely random design. The nutritional contribution of the diets provided was similar, meeting all the nutritional requirements required by the chicks, according to their physiological stage. The productive behavior reported significant differences in the productive parameters, final weight and weight gain, showing better results in the treatments that the microbial preparation was used. In addition, mortality was reduced from 6.0% in control treatment to 0% in treatment 2 and 3; while for the variables total feed consumption and feed conversion, no differences are reported. It was concluded that the treatments by adding 0.2 and 0.3 % of microbial preparation in the balanced feed of the chickens presented the best economic response, with a benefit / cost of 1.37. It is recommended to use the microbial preparation in the feeding of broiler chickens at a level of 0.2 and 0.3 % since they presented the best productive responses and the mortality percentage was reduced.
