Software Geogebra para el aprendizaje de la Geometría y Medida en estudiantes de Décimo año Educación General Básica de la Unidad Educativa Capitán Edmundo Chiriboga, en tiempos de pandemia.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to apply GeoGebra software for the learning of Geometry and Measurement in tenth-grade students of General Basic Education of the Educational Unit Captain Edmundo Chiriboga in times of pandemic. A quasi-experimental design that manipulates the independent variable and influences the dependent variable was used. The research approach was quantitative referring to the survey as an instrument to determine the level of knowledge, while the scope was descriptive since it seeks to describe the variables, in addition to improving student learning. As a result of the research, there was a positive change for tenth-grade students of General Basic Education who used GeoGebra software compared to those who learned traditionally without the use of GeoGebra software, those who used GeoGebra software improved significantly the learning of Geometry and Measurement. It is concluded that the students considered that the implementation of GeoGebra Software in their virtual classes helped to improve the study related to the calculation of areas and volumes of the cylinder and cone.
