Incorporación de mecanismos de facilidad de uso y modificación en el sistema de gestión de certificados del grupo GRIISOFT - Caso de análisis de funcionalidades nuevas y existentes.

Abstract

The objective of the curriculum integration work was to implement ease of use mechanisms and modification of the management system of certificates, which belongs to the Investigation Group in Software Engineering (GRIISOFT), besides adding new required functionalities. To carry out the development process, we stablished two perspectives: the first focuses on the engineering of the product where the software components required in the design are located, in addition to establishing the technical histories (HT) and user histories (HU) with a total of 4 and 31 respectively. Talking about the second perspective, it consists of the management in the development of the product, which was carried out using the agile methodology SCRUM, in which roles, meetings, etc. are defined. The tools used in the development were: Bootstrap framework, JavaScript interpreted to programming language for asynchronous communication (AJAX), PHP programming language, database manager MySql and as an integrated development environment (IDE) of Visual Studio Code programming. Once the product was finished with the proposed mechanisms, we performed a descriptive and inferential analysis to ease of use through the results obtained from the adaptation of the Use Questionnaire applied to 22 students in the eighth and ninth semester of the Software Career of the Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo, where the evaluators carry out a series of instructions both in the previous application (Pretest) and in the current application (Posttest). the data obtained reflects an improvement in the current application in the different indicators evaluated such as: Utility, Ease of Learning, Ease of Use and Satisfaction, talking about the modification facility the indicators of density of content and density of duplication enhance comparing to the previous application. In the same way, the number of bugs and code smells are significantly reduced, nevertheless, cyclomatic complexity increases in the current application.
