Implementación de registros productivos-reproductivos para ovinos tropicales en la empresa “AGROPEZ”.

Abstract

The objective of this work was to implement productive-reproductive records for the sheep species in the Agropez company -located in the province of Orellana-, based on an exploratory and descriptive research, through the application of surveys to managers and employees of the organization and bibliographic research to determine the type of records. Through the surveys, the diagnosis of the company was obtained, according to the codification of the animals by means of the button type earring; where the productive - reproductive stage, identification, existence, movements by purchase, sale and death, sanitary management, purchases of inputs, evaluation of growth, feeding, breeding, parturition, and births were determined. Based on the information obtained, research was made in indexed scientific publications on the registration model that adjusts to the conditions of the company, with which information the matrices for the productive and reproductive registration were designed. Based on the results of the field research, which showed that Agropez's basic records were managed only by the owners and that the information was not updated; 100% of the employees did not know how to manage them, an exposition was made on how to apply the new productive-reproductive records through technical training and practical application to show the benefits that can be obtained with the analysis, compilation and information; at the time of making decisions, making the production and reproduction system more efficient. In this sense and according to the results obtained, it was recommended to the directors of the company Agropez, the definitive implementation of the productive – agro-productive records for the management, setup, and treatment of the animals, with application by all the employees, so that the information is kept updated and gives better and greater results.
