Desarrollo de un sistema web para la gestión del personal e inventario de armas y accesorios de la Compañía de Ceguridad UNICEPRI, aplicando la arquitectura MVC.

Abstract

The objetcive of this titling work was development of the web application for the security company UNICEPRI, of the city of Riobamba, which allows to improve the management of guards and inventory of weapons and accessories, proccess which were carried out manually. In order to identify the user’s requirements, the interview and observation were used, which were applied to the protagonists, thus referring to the administrative staff that the company has such as: President, manger and secretary in change of the different processes. In order to give a correct follow-up to the Project, the ágil SCRUM methodology was used, allowing communication between the client of the web producto, thus helping the fulfillment of the different activities in the established times. The development of the web application was done using technologies, such as the Laravel frameworks to created the system Backend and for the storage section we worked with the database manager known as MariaDB. For de evaluation of the quality of the system efficiency was used with respect to the response time according to the ISO/IEC 25010 standard, for which test were applied to the administrative staff, being the ones in charge of carrying out the different procedures manually and using the system, having two response times, which were analyzed by means of the t-Student (paired), resulting in the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis which it tells us: By performing the different processes, response time are significantly reduced using the system, checking the efficiency of the system with respect to the traditional method, improving the performance of the web system for the security company.
