Propuesta para la optimización de las operaciones de mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo en la Rectificadora SERVIMOTORS de la ciudad de Riobamba

Abstract

The "Rectificadora Servimotors" does not have a clear organization at the managerial level, impairing the correct development of the warehouse area, causing loss of time and delays in the flow of activities and work processes; another shortcoming in this area is the lack of an inventory record to control the inputs and outputs of merchandise. The objective of this technical project was to propose tools, strategies and techniques for the control of the processes and operations of preventive and corrective maintenance that are offered by the "Rectificadora Servimotors" in Riobamba city. Through scientific research using the deductive, descriptive and field method, an interview was conducted with the manager, in which the problems presented by the object of study were identified and the pertinent information of the company was obtained; a measurement was made in a period of time that allowed comparisons to be established. It was proposed to renew the organization chart with their respective detailed functions; for the work processes, the control of these was proposed by measuring the times of each one and thus the PERT graphs were established. In addition, in the management area, the use of the Ishikawa diagram, Pareto diagram and Kanban method for the analysis, control and registration of work orders was formulated, and the application of the PDCA cycle resulted in the use of a record of inventory in the warehouse. Obtaining the analysis of the critical path and the slack of each one of the processes, it was determined that an adequate administrative management that implements control techniques and methods can present an improvement in the provision of services with quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
