Estudio técnico para la certificación del centro de revisión técnico vehicular del GADM Guano

Abstract

This research analyzed whether the Vehicle Technical Inspection Center of Guano Canton complies with all the Specific Criteria established in Resolution R05 2021-12-10 (ACCREDITATION FOR ORGANIZATIONS THAT CARRY OUT VEHICULAR TECHNICAL INSPECTION-ITV) to obtain the certificate of Accreditation issued by the SAE. For the development of this work, we used the modality of qualitative and quantitative research by applying different tools such as surveys, interviews, and observation sheets directed to the users who attend to perform their other vehicle procedures in the same way the sheets were applied to count the vehicles that enter the Vehicle Technical Review Center of Guano Canton, All these tools allowed to know that the CRTV does not meet all the requirements established in the regulations, for this reason, they do not have the Accreditation required by the rules Specific Criteria R05 accreditation for organizations that perform technical vehicle inspection-ITV. Similarly, this research determined the parameters that the CRTV-GUANO must meet to obtain the Certificate of Accreditation, including keeping a record of vehicle inspection reports and inspection of each vehicle that undergoes the review in which the parameters of Engine Performance, Lighting Devices, Safety Equipment, Steering Mechanism, Suspension, Tires, Wheels, and Windshield, as a conclusion should be improved in the parameters that do not meet, performing quarterly maintenance in addition to maintaining orderly planning to streamline and facilitate the technical review process. In this research, the Head of Registration is recommended to consolidate all the equipment required in the review to comply with everything specified in Resolution 05 2021-12-10.
