Estudio del desarrollo económico del sector comercial del barrio San Pedro en el cantón Guano para el período 2020

Abstract

The objective of this research project was to study the economic development of the commercial sector of the San Pedro neighborhood in the Guano canton for the period 2020, it was based on the study of the commercial sector and its impact on the economic growth of the canton, it should be noted that the research was carried out with the COVID-19 pandemic considering that in Ecuador there were great indicators of social impact that determined the evolution and economic growth of the cantons, parishes and neighborhoods of the country. Under this context, the research has been based on theoretical contents and bibliographic review that support the form of economic development of the state and therefore of the different productive units, including small businesses and commercial premises that are frequently found in the Guano canton. The method used approached a non-experimental design because it applied a documentary and field study of social scope. The technique used was the survey, which was used to collect the data and information necessary for the elaboration of this work. The conclusion is that, in order to achieve harmonious economic growth in this canton, there should be public policies that help micro-entrepreneurs to form an association, but in a practical, flexible way, and without much bureaucracy. It is recommended to establish an association of traders as it is a very important factor for economic development, for this the traders would have to form a legally constituted association that has the support of the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion (MIES) and the National Institute of Popular and Solidarity Economy (IEPS).
