Evaluación de diferentes niveles de promotor de crecimiento orgánico comercial en pollitas de reemplazo de la línea lohmann brown en la granja avícola “DAMIANCITO” en la provincia de Tungurahua.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to evaluate the effect of commercial organic growth promoter in replacement chicks on the Damiancito Poultry Farm in Tungurahua Province. It was carried out under a completely random design with three treatments (400 ,500 and 600 g/Tn of the PCOC), as opposed to a control treatment, divided into 3 repetitions with 20 birds, with a total of 240 birds in the experiment. Weight variation and food consumption were taken daily, finally the weight gain, food conversion, uniformity, mortality and benefit/cost were calculated and were subjected to a variance analysis (ADEVA) and separation of means according to Tukey at a significance level (P<0.05). It was reported that at 60 days there were no significant differences in the variables weight and percentage of uniformity at the age of 20 and 24 weeks, food consumption at the age of 20 weeks, the variables weight gain. Food conversion at the age of 20 weeks and food consumption at the age of 24 weeks showed significant differences, reported the best results in T2. For B/C it presented the highest profitability in T1 with $1.13. It was concluded that the use of commercial organic growth promoters in diets improves the productive parameters, it is recommended to use the treatment T2 (balanced with 500 g/Tn PCOC) as soon as it presented the best results.
