Elaboración de una fórmula farmacéutica con extractos de Ruta graveolens (ruda) y Chamaemelum nobile (manzanilla) Para el tratamiento de la inflamación articular

Abstract

The aim of this work was to elaborate a pharmaceutical formula for the treatment of joint inflammation, this one was elaborated based on hydroalcoholic extracts of Ruta graveolens (rue) and Cham aemelum nobile (chamomile). The quality control of the plant material was carried out, with the determination of tests such as: humidity, total ashes, compounds soluble in water and compounds insoluble in hydrochloric acid. Phytochemical tests of each extract were carried out to determine the presence of metabolites such as: alkaloids, coumarins, triterpenes, phenols and flavonoids. The quality control of each of the ethanolic extracts was determined through organoleptic and physical-chemical parameters. Finally, several formulations were made until the final product was obtained, which complied with the parameters established by quality control, having an adequate appearance and pH according to what the skin needs. The microbiological analysis carried out, demonstrated the absence of microorganisms and showed us that the pharmaceutical form is in optimal conditions for its use. In addition, by means of a survey, the quality and acceptability of the product was determined in volunteers who used the anti-inflammatory cream, so that, it had adequate acceptability. It is recommended to replicate the study in new pharmaceutical formulas that cover the diversity of plants that the country has, mainly to improve population health.
