Estudio de factibilidad para la implementación de vehículos eléctricos en las operadoras de Transporte Comercial modalidad taxis, en la ciudad de Riobamba

Abstract

The objective of this degree work was to determine the feasibility index for the implementation of electric vehicles in commercial transport operators in the city of Riobamba. For the development of the research, a mixed qualitative-quantitative, exploratory, bibliographic, descriptive, field research methodology was applied, complemented with the application of both deductive, analytical and transversal methods and for the collection of information, the survey and interview techniques were considered, as well as instruments such as: internet, electronic documents, questionnaire and interview guide, which facilitated obtaining information in a concrete manner. The research was carried out with the owners/drivers of the commercial transport units in the cab modality, interviews were also conducted with the legal representatives of; the transport operators, the Mobility Departament of the GADM of Riobamba and the manager of the concessionaire KIA MOTORS. As a result of the research, it was determined that only 31% of the population agrees with the implementation of electric vehicles in commercial transportation operators in the city of Riobamba. Therefore, some strategies for the implementation of this modality were proposed, including the acquisition of the BYD E3 GL400 electric vehicle with incentives by the GADM of Riobamba and the concessionaire, the implementation of 1 electric station, 8 fast charging points distributed in different strategic locations. of the city with their respective horizontal and vertical signage, and agreements with the concessionaires that distribute electric vehicles for the corresponding maintenance. For this reason, it is recommended that the GADM of Riobamba take into consideration what is proposed in the framework of this research, as it will serve as a fundamental basis for the implementation of electric vehicles in the commercial transport operators of the cab modality in the city.
