Abstract

In the present titling work, it is proposed to carry out a feasibility project for the creation of a honey bee production company in the Cotundo parish, Archidona canton, Napo province, research that is delimited to the sustenance of a theoretical base through the compilation of information from books, magazines, scientific articles and other specialized sources. The development of comprehensive agro-productive projects such as beekeeping that motivate families to improve their income and generate formal labor is one of the objectives of the research. As well as taking advantage of natural resources, the abundant flora that the eastern provinces maintain, especially the Archidona canton, which is surrounded by ecological reserves such as the Antisana Ecological Reserve and the Sumaco National Park, which preserve a considerable amount of flower production that with this proposal is intended to take advantage of. The methodology of this research required a mixed qualitative and quantitative approach through techniques such as the survey with its respective instruments that allowed the collection and analysis of the information necessary for the development of this research work. In the proactive framework, the proposal is structured according to the requirements found in the development and analysis of the survey of potential honey consumers in the Archidona canton. Determining the unsatisfied demand was the starting point to establish the size of the production area, as well as the processing plant, the levels of initial investment in fixed assets, deferred assets and working capital, as well as the costs and expenses that will be incurred. the start-up of the project. In addition, the financial evaluation was carried out by applying indicators such as the IRR and VAN, which yielded positive values indicating that the implementation of the project is feasible and attractive for potential investors
