Estudio de factibilidad para la ampliación del negocio comercial y de servicios PC TRONIK en el cantón Riobamba

Abstract

The objective of this research project was to determine the feasibility of expanding the commercial and service business PC TRONIK in the city of Riobamba, to obtain better income for the business. The methodology used in this project was a direct observation, surveys applied to the economically active population of Riobamba to determine the importance of the use of technological resources, the demand, supply, and therefore the level of acceptance of the project. The owner was also interviewed to identify the current situation of the business allowing for a situational diagnosis through internal and external factors. A market, technical and financial-economic study was also carried out to determine the initial investment, financing, profit, income, and expenses which resulted in a positive net present value (NPV) of $42,691.59; an internal rate of return (IRR) of 62%, a benefit-cost ratio (BCR) of $1.32; and an investment recovery period (IRP) of one year and 10 months. Thus, it can be concluded that the expansion of the business is feasible because it is profitable since significant profit margins will be obtained throughout the time analyzed
