Análisis del impacto socioeconómico en productores agrícolas de la Cooperativa Nueva Esperanza – Período 2016.

Abstract

The present research has it aim to analyze the socio-economic impact that the microcredit granted in 2016, it had on the agricultural producer members of the Cooperativa Nueva Esperanza, San Andrés Parish, Cantón Guano, Province of Chimborazo. The starting point was an analysis to determine the initial situation of the cooperativa members, identifying their social and economic reality, furthermore to subsequently compare the situation of the members who received the credit, whether their investment was aimed at the economy of the productive unit or the family unit. This research had a qualitative focus because it allowed for the collection of information and the linking of its variables, determining the degree of incidence in the area under study. It was reached correlational because it identifies whether the microcredit granted by the Cooperativa Nueva Esperanza had a socio-economic impact on the agricultural producer members assisted with this financing and whether if it influenced their economies. After carrying out this study, it was identified that the members improved their economic level more than their social level, giving priority to increasing their wealth within the family unit. Therefore, it was concluded that the microcredit granted by the Cooperativa Nueva Esperanza contributed to the socio-economic growth of its members in the San Andrés parish area.
