Diseño e implementación de un sistema de gestión de calidad en base a la Norma ISO 9001:2015 en la línea de producción de balanceados para aves de la Fábrica EXIBAL

Abstract

The present degree work refers to the design and implementation of a Quality Management System developed in the EXIBAL poultry balancing production line. The basis of the project was to increase quality through compliance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 Standard, as there were a large number of non-conforming products in the company. To prevent this problem, it was necessary to focus on adopting the DEMING cycle: Plan, Do, Check and Act (PDCA), adopted precisely in this standard. To support the development of the project, methodologies such as SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis were used to analyze the internal and external situation of the company and ISO 19011:2018 to carry out the initial and final diagnostic audits of the fulfillment of the requirements. On the one hand, an increase from 43.17% compliance in the initial state to 94.13% in the final state was obtained. On the other hand, ISO 31000 helped to analyze risks and opportunities in the organization. It is concluded that the implementation of the standard in the company helped to improve the quality of the products and the reduction of non-compliant products by 5% compared to the initial situation. It is recommended that the company obtain ISO certification in the immediate future in order to improve its image at the national level or possibly expand internationally.
