Estudio de factibilidad para la creación de la empresa de producción de prendas de alta costura para mujeres “Stiletto Clothes”, en la ciudad de Santo Domingo

Abstract

This Feasibility Study for the creation of the company for the production of women's clothing "Stiletto Clothes", has had the purpose of determining the viability and profitability of this business idea, allowing the company to offer its products in addition to providing its contribution to environmental care. For the development of the study, a market research was carried out that used the survey as a tool for data collection to determine the target market, unsatisfied demand and thus know the acceptance of the company "Stiletto Clothes", within the city of Santo Domingo and the interview that was conducted with an expert within the guidelines of the study who identifies herself as a dressmaker in the cutting and sewing branch. Subsequently, the technical study was prepared, which allowed determining the necessary investments, current income and of subsequent years, present and projected expenses, current and future cash flows, which show the profitability of the project, likewise, the financial evaluation was started, which yielded positive results. Among the indicators used in the evaluation, a Net Present Value (NPV) of $107,277.66 dollars was obtained, and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 30.09%, with a recovery period of 2 years 3 months and a relationship $0.35 cost-benefit ratio. These results allow us to determine the feasibility of creating the company, therefore, it is recommended that Mrs. Raquel Bazante give continuity to the business idea
