Elaboración del inventario de los activos a mantener de la Empresa CIAUTO Cía. Ltda. de la ciudad de Ambato en base a la Norma ISO 14224

Abstract

The development of this work aims to elaborate the inventory and coding of physical assets to maintain, from the company CIAUTO CIA. LTDA and contribute the maintenance verifying the existence and location of the equipment. For this, the project began by making an evaluation of the maintenance department through a survey addressed to its coordinator; being this the starting point for the preparation and coding of the inventory, following the guidelines of the ISO 14224 Standard that establishes the hierarchical levels to be used. Subsequently, photographic support of the systems and equipment was registered. In addition, it was carried out a semi-quantitative criticality analysis for all the inventoried systems, a total of 336 systems, distributed in 69 areas of the three plants and vehicle fleet, of which 72 systems are critical, which represents 21%, 140 systems of medium criticism with 42% and 124 remaining systems are non-critical corresponding to 37%. In addition, 516 documents belonging to the department were classified and organized; among operation and maintenance manuals, both physical and digital, additionally the information of 199 technical sheets was collected and recorded about the systems and equipment. According to the inventory, it is concluded that currently the maintenance department of the company CIAUTO CIA. LTDA, maintains 336 systems composed of 1605 equipment, of which the ELPO area of the paint plant has 19 critical systems, being the area with the highest criticality index. So, it is recommended to point a greater quantity of efforts and resources to the areas and systems identified as critical. Furthermore, it is suggested the implementation of labels with barcodes or QR, to facilitate the research of information about the physical assets to be maintained.
